Promotion of inclusive, transparent and accountable public institutions, active participation of youth, women, minorities and persons with disabilities in democratisation process to enhance democratic processes and institutions to achieve a more peaceful democratic Somalia.

The process of state building after protracted conflict entails both establishing structures of government based on the rule of law as well as implementing a bottom-up process of building the legitimacy of these structures at all levels. Such legitimacy is essential in order for the process to be viable and sustainable.
