Bareedo Platform operates under a strong and transparent governance framework led by a Board of Directors (BoD) and an Executive Management team.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors serves as the highest governing body of the organization, providing strategic oversight and ensuring accountability. The Board is responsible for:
- Reviewing and approving organizational plans and budgets
- Setting strategic direction and guiding long-term vision
- Approving organizational policies, procedures, and operational frameworks
- Strengthening internal control systems and governance standards
- Monitoring implementation and overall organizational performance
The Board consists of five independent, non-remunerated members, including:
- Chairperson
- Deputy Chairperson
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Member
Executive Management
The Executive Management team is responsible for the day-to-day operations and program implementation of the organization, ensuring alignment with Bareedo Platform’s mission and strategic objectives.
The team:
- Implements programs and organizational strategies
- Manages operations and resources effectively
- Ensures compliance with policies and procedures
- Reports regularly to the Board of Directors
The Executive Management structure includes:
- Executive Director
- Deputy Executive Director(s)
- Program Managers
- Operations Manager
They are supported by a team of officers, assistants, and volunteers, enabling effective delivery of the organization’s work across Somalia.
