Bareedo Platform Somalia plays a leading role in promoting migrants’ rights and strengthening safe migration practices across Puntland in Somalia. Through close collaboration with government institutions—especially the Department of Refugees, Returnees, and Mixed Migrants under the Ministry of Interior—Bareedo Platform supports and promotes the rights and dignity of migrants across Puntland by advocating for their inclusion in local services and decision-making processes. Bareedo raises awareness about safe migration practices among host communities and institutions while working to strengthen coordination among stakeholders involved in mixed migration governance. Through its programs, Bareedo also builds the institutional and technical capacity of government entities and CSOs enabling them to effectively monitor, manage, and respond to migration flows using a rights-based and data-driven approach.
